The Fast Claim Payment Trap and How to Escape It

Fast Claim Payment. Isn’t that what all of us want? Certainly, we all want to have our claim paid rapidly when we submit a claim.

Insurance companies are aware that policyholders want fast claim payment. I see insurance company advertisements on television and in print that brag about their fast claim service.

But is fast claim payment best for your bottom line?

My experience of over 35 years in the insurance business has proved to me that fast claim settlement are TERRIFIC…for the insurance company.

Insurance claims can be complicated things. If speed of settlement is the highest priority, then many things are going to have to be ignored.

So, here’s the trap. When you accept a fast claim settlement, you are in essence giving the insurance company a big discount on the claim amount. And you’re leaving hundreds or even thousand of dollars of money on the table that you may be entitled to collect.

Here’s The Escape Strategy

1. Slow down. Do your claim in a business-like fashion, not in a fever.

2. Don’t EVER accept the first settlement offer. ALL CLAIMS ARE NEGOTIABLE.

3. Make sure everything that has been damaged is covered.

4. Make sure you have gotten repair estimates from your own sources.

5. Negotiate from the highest estimates, not upward from the lowest estimates.

Follow this strategy and you can get the highest claim settlement possible!

If you have experienced a property loss, whether fire, wind, flood or other, you need to know winning insurance claim strategies. The insurance company will not tell you the claims process, but I will. I will show you how to take control of your insurance claim, and add hundreds or even thousands more dollars to your claim settlement. For more information, go to the website listed below.
